All classes at Learning English in Nanaimo are taught by Judith Markvoort

Judith has been teaching English for 20 years.  
She is a dedicated teacher with experience in teaching English at many levels.

Judith was educated in the Netherlands where she graduated with a B.A. in English in 1989. She has taught in the Netherlands, the Caribbean and in Canada.
"I love to teach", she says. "The best part about my work is watching my student's skills and confidence grow."

All our classes are taught in a residential home in Nanaimo.
We are near the old Island Highway, close to bus stops and the Departure Bay ferry terminal.

Conversation classes :
$20,- an hour

TOEFL / IELTS:
$25,- an hour

Individual classes:
$30,- an hour

At Learning English in Nanaimo, we offer English lessons to students of all ages and levels. 
Our classes are taught individually or in small groups, depending on registration.

These classes are for anyone who wants to become more confident in speaking English.
During our conversation classes we will talk about many different topics: meeting people, restaurants, fashion, staying in shape, movies and entertainment ...
Vocabulary (new words) and Grammar will be explained when necessary.
Classes are in small groups (2-5 people) and one session will be 2 hours.

In our conversation classes there will be a lot of talking... by you ! 

Studying for the TOEFL or IELTS by yourself can be a challenge.  You have bought the book and you are motivated to study but you also have questions that your book does not answer.
